This Denali Zipline Tour is a World-Class Eco Adventure!
Experience exciting ziplines, suspension bridges, a rappel, and a spiral staircase on this thrilling canopy zipline tour. Your adventure begins at our office at 13790 East 2nd Street in Talkeetna, where you’ll check in with our friendly local staff before boarding the DZT shuttle for a scenic three-mile drive through the boreal forest to wooded ridgelines just outside Talkeetna.
Upon arrival at the course, you’ll meet your certified guides, get outfitted in top-quality gear, and take part in a brief “zipline ground school” orientation to prepare you for the adventure ahead.
The three-hour tour offers a varied pace, blending speed and excitement as you zip through the northern boreal forest, with time to pause at elevated platforms and cross long aerial suspension bridges. On clear days, glimpses of Denali and the Alaska Range may appear through the trees, adding to the sense of place and scale.
Along the way, your guides share educational insights about the boreal forest and local topography, including forested ridgelines, gentle terrain changes, and kettle ponds. Talkeetna’s rich history—rooted in aviation, mountaineering, gold mining, and memorable local characters—often finds its way into the conversation, with each guide bringing their own perspective and stories.
There are multiple opportunities for photos from viewing platforms and suspended sky bridges throughout the course.
The tour concludes with the longest and final zipline, stretching nearly 600 feet and passing over our “Reflection Pond,” before landing on the final platform just six feet off the ground with an easy stair exit. A short shuttle ride returns you to downtown Talkeetna.
What to Know and Wear
Check is required 30 minutes prior to your booked tour time. Closed-toed shoes are required. We recommend comfortable clothing for the current weather conditions. Alaska’s weather can change quickly, so the best advice we can give you is to dress in layers. Feel free to bring a camera along, however you will be responsible for transport, damage or loss of your own photo or video equipment. It is best to have a lanyard that can secure your equipment to your harness or to keep it in a zippered pocket.
Photo Information
While we do not offer a photo package, you will want to share the adventure with friends and family! Participants are more than welcome to bring their phones and cameras. Waterproof phone cases are available for purchase.
Don’t forget to bring your GoPro! Our helmets are equipped with adhesive mounts.
